WRITING WORKSHOP DEC. 10 IN CHEYENNE: The Cheyenne Family YMCA will be the site for a writing workshop by the Rocky Mountain Writer’s Association on Saturday, Dec. 10, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Continental breakfast provided, lunch on your own. Featured presenters include British novelist Janet Roots, fiction writer Jackson Webb, and nonfiction writer Sandy Welchel, president of the National Writers Association in Denver. A few locals (me included) will be conducting sessions. Topics will include publishing, writing dialogue, descriptive writing, and viewpoint. The workshop will be held in the YMCA’s Community Center, 1426 E. Lincolnway. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. and the cost per person is $45.
